Have you ever been in a Google Meet video conference and wanted to share a window with audio? Maybe you were giving a presentation or showing a video that required sound. Well, you’re in luck! In this article, I’ll show you how to easily share a window in Google Meet with audio.
First, make sure you have the Google Meet app installed on your computer. If you don’t have it yet, you can download it from the official Google website.
Step 1: Join a Google Meet
Start by joining a Google Meet video conference. You can do this by clicking on the meeting link or entering the meeting code provided by the host.
Step 2: Start Sharing
Once you’re in the Google Meet conference, look for the “Present now” button at the bottom of the screen. Click on it to start sharing your screen.
A pop-up window will appear, giving you the option to share your entire screen, a specific window, or a Chrome tab. Choose the “A window” option.
Step 3: Select the Window and Enable Audio
In the next window, you will see a list of all the open windows on your computer. Select the specific window you want to share with audio.
Before clicking “Share”, make sure to check the box that says “Share audio”. This will ensure that the audio from the selected window is also shared with other participants in the Google Meet conference.
Step 4: Confirm and Share
After selecting the window and enabling audio, click on the “Share” button. The window you selected will now be shared with audio in the Google Meet conference.
Remember, if you want to stop sharing the window, simply click on the “Stop sharing” button at the bottom of the screen.
Sharing a window with audio in Google Meet can greatly enhance your virtual meetings and presentations. It allows you to share important content while ensuring that everyone can hear the audio. Just remember to have the Google Meet app installed, join a meeting, start sharing, select the window, enable audio, and confirm to share. Give it a try in your next Google Meet conference and experience the benefits firsthand!
