Hey there! So, you’re probably in the same boat as I was when I wanted to remove from my Chrome browser. It can be super frustrating when unwanted extensions or websites start popping up without your permission, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. I’ll walk you through the steps to get rid of and hopefully make your browsing experience a lot smoother.

Checking Chrome Extensions

The first thing I did was to check my Chrome extensions to see if had sneaked its way in there. To do this, open Chrome and click on the three-dot menu on the top right corner. Then go to More tools > Extensions. Here, I found the list of all my installed extensions, and sure enough, was there. I clicked on the “Remove” button next to it and confirmed the removal.

Resetting Chrome Settings

Even after removing the extension, I noticed that was still showing up in my browser. So, I decided to reset Chrome settings. To do this, go back to the three-dot menu, click on Settings, then scroll down and click on Advanced. Scroll down further until you see Reset and clean up, then click on Restore settings to their original defaults. This helped get rid of any lingering traces of

Running Malware Scan

Just to be extra sure, I also decided to run a malware scan using my preferred antivirus software. It’s always a good idea to do this to ensure that your system is clean and free from any potential threats. After the scan, I was relieved to see that my system was all good, and was nowhere to be found.
