As someone who regularly utilizes Zoom for online meetings and webinars, I have found the chat function to be extremely beneficial for instant communication with attendees. In this guide, I will be sharing my personal experience and providing instructions on how to activate the chat box in Zoom.

Another useful setting is the ability to disable the private chat feature. Private chat allows participants to send direct messages to each other during a meeting. To disable private chat, find the “Allow participants to send a private 1:1 message to others” option and uncheck the box next to it.
